What is PRP under-eye treatment?

How PRP under-eye works

A small blood draw (about a tablespoon) is processed in a sterile centrifuge to separate platelet-rich plasma from red blood cells. The PRP — concentrated with growth factors like PDGF, TGF-β, VEGF, and EGF — is then micro-injected into the under-eye dermis.

Serious complications are very rare with proper sterile technique and physician oversight. We process PRP in-office, in a sterile field, within an hour of the draw.
Often yes — but timing matters. If you have current filler that’s settling or causing issues, we may dissolve it first. If filler is integrated and looking right, PRP is layered carefully on top. We’ll review your history and assess.
There’s a brief sting per injection point. With topical anesthetic, most patients rate it 3–4/10. The under-eye area is sensitive but the procedure is quick — the actual injection phase takes only 5–10 minutes per side. The blood draw is the longest part of the appointment.
